Cash For Junkers
There's been a lot of press about the federal government's new "Cash for Clunkers" program. That's great--we love the idea of doing things to help reduce carbon emisssions. But what you don't hear about is that not every car qualifies! To get cash for your clunker, you have to buy a new car and prove that it's more gas-efficient than the one you've got. Then there's a limit on how much you get back: $4,500.
At Pre-Owned Motor Cars, we've got our own "Cash for Clunkers" program and we think we've got one or two up on the government. First of all, we'll take any car you've got. Then, we'll go ahead and save you up to $5,000!
How does it work? Easy! You trade in the car you've got and we'll give you a good price for something else. Assuming your trade-in is in good shape, we'll clean it up, put it on our lot, then sell it to someone else who can get some more mileage out of it.
But isn't this more or less what you always do? Yes! Except for our new offer of up to $5,000 in savings, Pre-Owned Motor Cars has been helping Big Island residents get the most out of cars already in the state for more than 15 years. But I bet you never really thought of it as recycling, did you?
